hapner: lawheed's tru patriot act

welp. on the plus side peter lougheed walked away from karlheinz. hey, look, it's peter kent. sure was a lot of talk about the big conservative family.

peter lougheed (1928-2012)
besides stampedin', hapner rode in for frank glenfield's funeral last year. {hapner "entered the University of Calgary, which is right . . . of the Ayatollah Khomeini, as you probably know, and he became very much under that influence."}

in my mynde, 'patriot' is an american word. here's lougheed at the banff springs hotel as co-chair:
On September 12 to 14, 2006, business and government representatives from the three North American countries met in secret, with no media coverage, at the Banff Springs Hotel and convened the North American Forum. Judicial Watch, a U.S. public watchdog group got declassified government documents through a Freedom of Information Act request and made the documents available on their website. These documents reveal the discussions and membership in the secret meetings. The Canadian co-chair of the meeting was former Alberta premier Peter Lougheed, and Canadian participants included Day, D’Aquino (also a member of the NACC), all NACC corporate representatives, and John Manley. In the released documents, under the forum discussion on “Border Infrastructure and Continental Prosperity,” chaired by John Manley, a startling quote was revealed: “While a vision is appealing, working on the infrastructure might yield more benefit and bring more people on board (‘evolution by stealth’).” What exactly are they evolving by stealth? Oh right, our country. source
so, yeah, a true patriot act. next question: there was such a backlash about state-owned petro canada, yet selling nexen [china national offshore cnooc's $15b (cash) organ trafficking money laundering deal], and alderon stuff is okay, and bombardier private jet sales are booming, so is huawei telecomm. hapner still hates cuba: it's communist! funny how the days go. gotta wonder, whatever was going on with danny williams and the impoverished national hockey league (strike!).

as the afghanistan mission closes, the first 4 soldiers killed in 2002 by U.S. pilots (Tarnak Farm incident: eight seriously wounded) and the last 2 by suicide. that is that.

on creeping canadians & databases

If a constituent writes his or her Member of Parliament, including address and phone number, with their concerns or questions, the information is entered into the Party's database? It produces profiles or ratings of individual constituents?

Garth Turner said that after door-knocking episodes (canvassing), it was back to the database, write everything. Jason Kenney: "They should be apologized."

Hat tip to Saskboy.

LIB: ManageElect08/Liberalist. CON: CIMS (Is sharing with municipalities or provincial parties bad?) "CIMS grew out of the Ontario PC party’s Trackright database." NDP: NDP Vote.

so i say hey hey hey what's going on

open letter to rona ambrose@encanada

Yo.

I would have written the other environment minister (desert storm scud stud, Afghanistan reporter, Arthur Kent, oops that's his brother, Peter Kent), but since you babbled about Kyoto, novels, HappyOil (2006-07) and got this timbits tarball rolling and P. Kent babbles about finishing it or is it the 'engine' of the North American economy! (oops, that's the new provincial Minister of Energy, Ken Hughes), and now another artist is not very happy.

wow, multi-billion dollar buttons! - Ambrose, Clement, MacKay
And besides, you are Canada's new limousine winner! *$40,000* That Tony Clement is funny. I liked what he said about MP limos. "We work long hours for Encana Canadians."

Weird. Three departments refused to provide details on drivers' overtime citing privacy reasons: Environment Canada, Public Safety Canada and the Privy Council Office.

And that's not counting Franke James. More on roma androse, manRights and other Polish tax agreements.

jasper: wat-cha-ching! glacier melt

It was controversial. No matter. The private observation deck in a public national park was approved by the federal government. It's being built. The Icefields TangleMeltWay Ridge Viewpoint Centre Parkway will be staffed by Brewster's, not Parks Canada.

The facility will be knocked into the cliff with explosives, and a 42 year lease, disappointing lichen and bighorn sheep. Brewster Travel Canada  is now owned by VIAD of Arizona ("The Business Behind Leading Businesses"). Admission to this GDW skywalker is expected to be $15-$30 per person.

Peter Kent joked about the high-volume form letter complaints (180,000 signatures + 1000s of letters & postcards)(dictionary.com "petition"), as if people have time to write these ministers of industry borg personal fucking letters, every week.

what a jerk. pick1

It was the taunt.

Elizabeth May: Very difficult to get to COP. UN deadline 2 apply passed before Kent told us we were not on del.

Justin Trudeau: This is a tradition that goes back 20 years of bringing multiple voices to a conference. He did not, they did not.

Peter Kent: "he chided NDP critic Megan Leslie for being ill-informed about last week's climate-change conference because she hadn't attended."

"Justin Trudeau calls on Peter Kent to issue his own apology after expletive-tinged Commons clash" source

wowzers: prevent NDP critic Megan Leslie from attending, then blame her for not being there. that's a bit fecal!

speculation: rat3pack to$ monetize$ wolfhunt

Gary, and whats-his-name (covert, deleted emails or he's not here), and former energy minister Rick got it in with the hunting crowd and lodges and high end US trophy game hunters. And we all know the thousand plus wolves gotta go, for the woodland caribou recovery, says federal environment person, or no says another.

"Canada’s Minister of Environment Peter Kent supports a plan that would shoot or poison wolves that have been preying on caribou." Or was that paradis industry, can never remember, which is switch.

What's that worth, a heli hunt per wolf? Co-inkadinkly, and must be nice bizniz as usual fer flyboyz, "What is it, and why does vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin support the practice?"

http://howlingforjustice.wordpress.com/category/wolves-under-fire/

Haha! Reminds me of the funny Armstrong ranch story, 2006, and the hunt: Dick Cheney shoots Harry Whittington, mistakes a campaign contributor for a quail.
